Do I need to have tried the problem first?

No, but it helps. If you’ve made an attempt — even a wrong one — your tutor can see exactly where the reasoning breaks, and the session gets much further.

How do the sessions actually work?

Zoom or Google Meet, forty-five or sixty minutes, one to one. You get a link and a calendar invite once the time is agreed. Sessions can be recorded if you want to revisit them, and the written notes arrive the same day.

What if the tutor isn’t a good fit?

Tell us after the first session. We’ll rematch you and cover the cost of the replacement session — you shouldn’t pay twice to find the right person.

Which subjects do you cover?

Most often statistics, economics, accounting, nursing, psychology, law and computing. If we don’t have someone for your subject we’ll say so rather than send you a generalist.
